This is raw wool that has been processed by washing to remove dirt and lanolin and then combed to align the fibers so that the wool can be easily spun into yarn. It can be used for anything you can imagine, including spinning, felting projects, rug braiding, or other crafts.
Bluefaced Leicester wool is luxuriously soft and lustrous, and extremely fine. Its long fibers and soft handle make it ideal for both beginner and advanced hand-spinners. This wool makes great worsted yarn.
Shropshire wool resists felting and is great for rug braiding projects or for washable products and crafts. This wool makes great woollen yarn.
Both are sold without added dyes or chemicals and are very nearly white. This makes dyeing or hand painting easy and fun!
