Borage ( Borago officinalis)

Borage flower, stems, and leaves are used in diuretics to support treatment of urinary tract conditions and weak hearts as well as to support circulation to treat varicose veins. The herb, but not the seed oil, induces sweating and is used as a sedative.

Naturopathic practitioners uses of borage for regulation of metabolism and the hormonal system, and consider it to be a good remedy for PMS and menopause symptoms such as the hot flash. Borage is sometimes indicated to alleviate and heal colds, bronchitis, and respiratory infections in general for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Not recommended while pregnant. Not recommended for long term use.

Our loose herbs come packaged in an FDA approved resealable bags that are properly labeled.

Contains 1 ounce

Morgan Botanicals herbs and herbal products are hand crafted using only 100% pure botanicals and fresh ingredients. What herbs I don't grow or ethically wildharvest I buy from only reputable organic growers. The Morgan Family owns and operates a three acre apple orchard along with fresh produce and herbs in Tehachapi. I sell locally to businesses, midwives, and have a booth at the local Farmers' Market.
