A very old heirloom that dates back to 1877. This variety has proven itself in both home and market gardens for over a century! It was improved during the 1950's for resistance to Cucumber Mosaic Virus. Vines produce heavy yields of 3-6" bright green fruits of excellent quality. Fruits are very crunchy and are perfect for eating fresh or processing. The standard for making homemade pickles. Vines produce continually if regularly picked. 55 days.
