This is my mother-in-laws recipe and probably the best tasting bread and butter pickles we've ever had. The ingredients are the freshest available - straight out of the garden and into the jars...
Ingredients: Organically grown cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, garlic, mustard seed & onions; distilled vinegar, pure cane sugar, sea salt & organic spices.

Our community is in a remote area along the Columbia River where most of the property is 20 natural acres or more and all of the producers are small family operations (except one large cattle rancher that doesn't sell to us, but DOES shop with us!).
Most of us qualify to become Certified Organic, and a few sell enough products outside the area to be able to actually afford the annual fees. There IS a difference in the quality of life for those who have been long time organic growers!
