Bread of Angels is a small artisanal domestic bakery located in Harrisburg, OR. We are committed to creating breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies using the finest organic ingredients flours, butter, and free-range eggs, using local ingredients wherever possible. While many of our flours come from Bob's Red Mill here in Oregon, this year for the first time we are able to get whole wheat bread and pastry flours made from grain grown and milled here in the Willamette Valley. Our breads are slowly fermented and shaped by hand - the longer fermentation produces breads with full and unique flavors, airy texture, and great crusts as well as a prolonged shelf life.
Ultimately we would like to use the CSA model in our business. Like CSA's, our ultimate goal is to have a base subscriber group who will order our unique, made-from-scratch products on a weekly basis. As part of that goal, we are proud to offer our products through a local food website, Corvallis Local Foods.
Our products will be available on Saturdays at the Sweet Home Farmers Market from late May through October and on Thursdays at the Lebanon Farmers Market from late May through October. We can also ship products via Priority Mail.
While breads and whole grain cookies are our primary focus, we also offer seasonal breads and pastries such as German Stollen and Chocolate Fruitcake as well as a selection of other cookies. We also accept custom orders for special diets and special occasions.
We've expanded our product line. Currently we offer a classic French Sourdough Baguette, Rose's Deli Rye, Rosemary Rye, Italian Bread with Olives, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, and Capers; French Onion and Cheese; Honey Jalapeno,, Milk and Honey, Oregon Hazelnut, Sourdough Walnut Raisin, Challah, and two different cheese breads. All of our cookies are made with whole grain flours. Our most popular cookies are Molasses Ginger Crinkles, Lemon Rosemary, Chocolate Crackle, and Coconut Clouds.
