Billbergias are excellent landscape plants where temperatures don't drop lower than about 26°F and can be grown as houseplants elsewhere. The flowers are also attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.
This is a collection of Billbergia offsets that have recently been removed from the mother plant. They will have no roots when shipped, but can be immediately potted in porous soil, where they quickly establish and start to grow.
This collection includes:
Bill. pyramidalis (late summer bloom)
Bill. saundersii (spotted foliage and late fall to early winter bloom)
Bill. manarae (winter to spring bloom)
Bill. Foster's striate (striped foliage and winter to spring bloom)
These will all grow in 6" pots or less, so make excellent houseplants or porch plants.
