At BWCN Farm, we raise earthworms for promoting healthy "living" soils and vermicomposting. We sell earthworm cocoons (eggs) to help increase worm populations in farms and gardens more effectively. We also sell earthworm castings, which is an all natural, soil admentment.

Earthworms play an important role in the creation of healthy, productive soils. Basically, earthworm feeding and burrowing activities incorporate organic residues and amendments into the soil, enhancing decomposition, humus formation, nutrient cycling, and soil structural development.
