We are a small locally owned baking business that specializes in using local produce, dairy and nuts. We know all the farmers we purchase from. Our eggs are all cage free, vegetarian fed. Our carrots for our carrot cake are freshly harvested the same day we use them. Our milk and cheese providers are local farms that specialize in artisan, handcrafted, award winning cheeses and hormone free, organic milk. We are a seasonal bakery with the what looks good today approach. This philosophy applies to even our wedding cakes where we love to use seasonal berries and peaches tucked in between rich layers of homemade pastry cream. We use homemade apple butter from local apples combined with natural cream cheese for a fabulous cake filling. We buy from a local goat farm for their delicious chevre we use in our roasted vegetable summer tarts. We utilize local culinary lavender grown at nearby Havenhill Lavender for a delicious variety of lavender based desserts. We take pride in providing our consumer with a product that stands out above the rest, along with supporting local growers. We like to detail our customers where our ingredients have come from, thereby promoting local farms.
