Bright yellow flowers that bloom over a long period. Beautiful, and edible too!
Your order is protected with the LocalHarvest money back guarantee.
Bright daisy-like flowers bloom over a long period. Once planted they reseed easily for a repeat performance.
This strain, Resina, has the highest amount of resins compared to other calendulas. Flowers are mostly bright yellow with a few orange for nice contrast. The resins in the flowers are used as a topical treatment for inflammation and skin problems. The flower petals are edible, and can also be used for dying food, wool, or fabric. The petals can be used as a substitute for saffron.
If you feed the petals to your hens they will provide eggs filled with bright orange yolks.
One oz contains approximately 3500 seeds.
