Camphill Village Minnesota (CVM) is located on a 470 acre biodynamic farm ten miles north of Sauk Centre in Central Minnesota. The community includes adults with developmental disabilities. People live together family-style in seven different homes. Everyone shares in the responsibilities of life in the community.
The Village has a strong agricultural component made up of farming, herbs and gardening. The farm provides beef for the village and for the public. Cows are graze on a carefully managed pasture rotation, and on hay and grain grown on the property. Craft work includes weaving, woodwork and a card shop, as well as a bakery that provides for the needs of the village and sells in the surrounding area. Every fall CVM hosts an open house on site where craft items and a selection of our vegetables are sold. Food and live entertainment are provided.
Coworkers (including interns) are encouraged to apply. All coworkers have an opportunity to work in any of our various workshops, depending on their skills. Land workers and Houseparents (people who manage the houses and supervise adult foster care) are especially encouraged to apply.
