Capon Crossing Farm Market and Gardens is a multi-generational, family-owned farm located about five miles from Wardensville on 259, situated against the Capon River and rolling hills of the George Washington National Forest. We provide fresh produce and grass-fed, grain supplemented beef for the Capon Valley. Starting July 1st, come visit our farm, tour our gardens and barn (renovation in progress), buy some produce, beef, and crafts, and enjoy a relaxing summer's day and good conversation!
We are beginning this farmer's market in 2010 because we want to share our love for our farm and the Capon Valley with the people from this area. Sandy and Michelle White have pursued organic, natural, and sustainable practices since embarking into the agricultural world more than 20 years ago. We now look forward to including the community. We hope to see new and familiar faces enjoying our farm as much as we do!
Visit our blog to get the latest information about what's ripe in the garden and upcoming events! This venture is brand new, and our whole family is teeming with ideas about how to make our farm market fun for the entire family. Look forward to horse rides, hikes, bluegrass shows, and more!
