We are a small family owned farm that have been growing traditional crops for many years. We produce hay, soybeans, corn, oats, wheat, and timber and have recently ventured into produce production in a small way.

We are finding our niche slowly...finding out which crops are in demand and which we like to grow. Thus we have started market gardening on a very small scale and have joined a Local Roots Marketing Co-operative.

On a small scale we have been growing small fruits, greens, beans, peas, sweet corn and pumpkins. In the vegetable plots we rely heavily on mulching and crop rotation to control weeds and pests. We are not certified organic and have no plans to become certified...however we try to operate our farm in a sustainable manner and normally do not apply pesticides to the vegetable crops. We also have a few Boer goats, a few cattle, and a few chickens and a couple of labrador dogs.
