The Asparagus exceeded our expectation, however the season is over. The Shiitake Mushrooms are going gang-busters, and baby bok choy, kale, beets (red and golden) and spinach are beautiful and tasty! The big news is the six varieties of heirloom Tomatoes growing in our hoophouse that should ripen by June 1! Lucious blueberries and blackberries will be available in June as well. In July, the field heirloom tomatoes arrive, plus small melons, sweet peppers, okra and eggplant! In the fall, we'll have raspberries, greens and winter squash.

but the real deal is Baby Ginger! Available in October

At Casselmonte, we are "bringing taste back to the table!"

Our operation is organic ~ we do not use chemical fertilizer or pesticides. (more...)
