Castle Rock Farmers Market

The Castle Rock (Plum Creek Valley Farmers Market) has been around since 1987. It was started by a Douglas County Master Gardener in cooperation with the CSU Extension Office. The Market emphasizes vegetables and fruits and there are three large vegetable growers and two large fruit growers that sell at the market. In addition, there are many specialty items sold and an information booth manned by Master Gardeners to answer questions related to horticulture and food safety.

Listing last updated on Mar 4, 2014

Applications are due by April 30th each year. Non-profit spaces are available throughout the market season on a space available basis. Seasonal vendors are only considered discretionally by the Market ChairPerson on an individual basis after April 30th.

It's our closest outlet to getting local produce...and it's always fresh and delicious!!!

in our short growing season, it is a special treat to have access to local, fresh produce

Love this farmers market for all the fresh produce it sells. We have a very short growing season. So everyone enjoys Saturday mornings from July to October when we can get baked breads, homemade jams, honey and especially the vegetables & fruits the local growers bring in for us.
