In the Spring of 2010 we planted 500 Triplecrown thornless blackberries. We chose Triplecrown because they are reputed to be one of the very best tasting blackberries. We have managed them organically, and in July, 2010 were certified to grow organic blackberries by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. This summer (2012) between approximately mid-July until mid-August, we plan to offer our organic blackberries through pick-your-own (PYO). We will probably also have some pre-picked for sale, and hopefully, down the road, offer a few products made with the berries such as jams and jellies.
