Chatham Marketplace is a full-service food cooperative focused on local, organic and sustainably grown products. The Co-op has retail space in downtown Pittsboro in the historic Chatham Mills. Our market sells a full line of organic produce, grocery, deli, bakery, bulk, and dairy items as well as high quality meats and other healthy products. Oh, and don't forget the specialty coffee bar, salad bar and sushi! We're also so much more than a grocery store as we have regular events on the lawn and offer gracious cafe seating inside and on our porch. Chatham Marketplace opened it's doors on May 18, 2006! The Co-op is open everyday from 8AM-8PM. We offer the only fresh sushi in Chatham County in addition to a fabulous, organic, fair traded coffee bar; hearty sandwiches on local, artisan breads; and an amazingly local produce department. Regular events on the lawn round out the ambience of this full-service food co-op that is so much more than a grocery store!
