Chef & the Farmer is small, bistro style restaurant located in the historic district of downtown Kinston, North Carolina. We source nearly 60% of our ingredients from within 30 miles or less of the restaurant. Currently the Chef, and owner, Vivian Howard & her husband, GM & Wine Guide, Benjamin Knight have started a new Slow Food Chapter in our area call Slow Food Down East.
