Chestnut Farms is a family-owned and operated livestock farm in the heart of MA. We raise all natural, hormone and anti-biotic free meats. This includes grass-fed beef grown exclusively on pasture and hay to ensure a rich, wonderful flavor and high levels of Omega-3. Our York, Hampshire and Duroc pigs are pastured and petted while being fed only a natural grain diet - never any garbage. Our lambs are born in the spring pasture where they are allowed to nurse and frolic with their mothers. We also raise our own offer pastured poultry including chicken and turkey.
Chestnut Farms offers shares in our meat CSA. Each month members receive a mix of "daily" (ground beef, stew meat, bacon, whole chicken, sausage) cuts and "prime" cuts (steaks, chops, boneless chicken breasts). For more information visit our website.
Pasture raised, hormone, anti-biotic free beef, lamb, pork and poultry. All local, all natural, all great tasting and good for you! Available in our popular meat CSA shares or through farmers markets in Lexington, Newton, Natick and Arlington, MA.

I've been a happy customer for several years now. Once you start eating local meat raised in a healthy manner you won't want to go back! I have a no-pork share (they also do no-lamb shares) and it's a great mix of everyday cuts, some fancier steaks or chops, lamb in season, and chicken.... [more]
We have been subscribing to Chestnut Farm's meat CSA for many years now, and continue to be delighted.
Since there's only the 2 of us, we get 10 pounds a month.... [more]

I have no idea why this farm trumpets its meat CSA and then ignores you when you try to join. I've tried to enroll twice (a year apart), then emailed through the website about not getting an answer - still nothing.... [more]
