Indoor Winter Farmer's Market in Chicago
Spring is approaching! Can you feel it? If our end-of-February/beginning-of-March feels like a lion, spring can feel like a distant friend never-to-arrive. But it WILL arrive. Sometimes patience is all that's required. Soon enough, the soft lamb of spring-time will be pouncing around and getting into lamb-like mischief. What a joy!
Come one down to Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park and get into a spring-time mood. Nothing feels more like the warm season than talking with one of your local farmers, shopping for locally-sourced and sustainably-produced goods and enjoying the sights and sounds of the marketplace. Join us in supporting locally grown goods all winter long. There will be cheese, meat and poultry, soap, syrup, honey, wool, raw fibers, vinegars, dried fruits, milled flours, sauces and salsas, preserves, cider, and fresh produce as available.
We hope to see you there Saturday, February 23rd from 9am-1pm at Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park!
