City Pastures is an Urban Farm located in Staten Island, New York in the borough of Richmond. Our website is dedicated to educating our community and others to the importance of farming their plot of land. This is not limited to community gardens but includes yards, terraces, rooftops and balconies in our urban environment. City Pastures recognizes the inter-ralatedness of sustainable farming to the urban and global environment.
We advocate the importance of sustainable farming through various media (video, essays and links) posted on our website. Through our media we hope to reach a wider audience in our local and global community. We believe this philosophy will enrich our quality of life beyond the borders of our urban community.
