Classic Hot Fudge Sauce is just that. Except you cannot easily find old- fashioned hot fudge in the markets today. It just costs too much to use best ingredients and then to blend them in a way that duplicates the traditional hot fudge flavor. I think that you will enjoy blissful memories when you try our sauce made with evaporated organic sugar cane juice,corn syrup, non - certified organic butter, organic 42% cream, water and with 62% and 66% Belgian Chocolate,,Vanilla and sea salt. This is the one sauce that we make that has only one country's chocolates in it. We just couldn't see this very traditional and very pourable sauce made with anything else other than Belgium chocolate. This is the least dense of our sauces.
The RIVER CHOCOLATE COMPANY Sauces are extremely rich, dense, chocolately delights that aren't just for ice cream anymore. When we began to sell our sauces two summers ago at the St. Paul Farmer's Market we thought that we had created a memorable ice cream indulgence, but, boy, we were surprised at the creativity of our clients! They couldn't resist using the sauces in ways we had not considered. Folks have used our sauces (we have to figure out a different name for them...) in coffee for a little extra kick day or night; cold milk, hot milk, soy milk, spread on warm fresh bread in place of butter or jam; as a tart layer, on crepes, over waffles, spread on pound cake and other kinds of cakes, biscotti dip; drizzled on a tart or pie. Try blending it with marscapone cheese or whipped cream in a crepe with berries. It has also been used for dipping summer strawberries and draped over other fruits. Many customers tell us that our sauces never see another food group - they just see the end of the spoon!
