We breed Lowline Cattle for seed stock and freezer beef and raise Katahdin Sheep for grass-fed lamb. Our livestock are grass-fed which produces meat that is much higher in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins E and beta-carotene. These nutrients are recommended for a healthy heart, cancer prevention and to enhance short-term memory. We are California Beef Quality Assurance Certified producers. We do not use hormones.
I am currently taking orders for lamb meat. We have 5 lambs that will be ready for butchering the middle of July. We sell a half or whole lamb; cut to your specifications, wrapped and frozen. The cost is approximately $155 for a side or $275 for a whole lamb. Each animal should yield about 40 pounds of cut meat. The payment needs to be made in 2 checks - one to me and a separate check paid directly to the butcher for the cut & wrap. Please contact me to reserve your lamb!
