Cloud Mountain Farm Center

Cloud Mountain is a nonprofit community farm center in Everson, Wash. Created in 2011, after 33 years as a working farm, Cloud Mountain expands Whatcom County├?┬ó├»┬┐┬Ż?├»┬┐┬Ż?s food system by training individuals who wish to learn the business and agricultural skills needed to succeed in today├?┬ó├»┬┐┬Ż?├»┬┐┬Ż?s faming environment. Cloud Mountain continues to sell fruit and ornamental plants to the public at its nursery, located on the 20-acre farm at 6906 Goodwin Road. Proceeds support paid internships for aspiring farmers and nearly two dozen workshops offered free of charge to farmers and home gardeners. Additionally, Cloud Mountain continues to operate as a working farm and conducts field trials on a variety of fruit and vegetables in partnership with Washington State Department of Agriculture, Washington State University Extension, Community Food Co-op, and Whatcom Community Foundation. Seasonal fruits and vegetables grown at Cloud Mountain are available at the farm center├?┬ó├»┬┐┬Ż?├»┬┐┬Ż?s on-site produce stand, as well as at Bellingham Farmers Market. Hours are seasonal. Through June they are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Situated on 20 acres of orchards, vineyards, nursery fields, greenhouses and trial gardens of many fruit and ornamental plants. We propagate and grow many of the plants we sell and are dedicated to evaluating planst for thier adaptibility and ornamental value to the gardener. We ship plants throughout the U.S. Come visit the nursery, open February through November. See the wonderful assortment of fruit and ornamental plants, wander the demonstration gardens, taste our fruit in the fall.
