Clover honey has a pleasing, mild taste. Clovers contribute more to honey production in the United States than any other group of plants. The clover in our clover honey include white Dutch clover, white blossom clover, and yellow blossom clover. Clover honey has a sweet, flowery flavor and a pleasing mild taste.
Clover honey is lighter in color and is your typical store bought honey. The big difference between store bought and our honey is that we do not heat our honey to excessive temperatures. Honey at your local store is heated extensively to help prevent any crystallization that might occur while it is sitting on the shelf.
Excessive heating like this removes many of the minerals and qualities of honey that make it so beneficial for your diet.
