The wool from our flock is prized by knitters for its robust yet soft texture. Many find our Clun Forest wool some of the most sturdy and lustrous yarn they've ever worked with. While we sell only natural colored yarn (a rich creamy white), it takes any color of dye beautifully. A steal at $13.95 a skein (200 yards or 4 oz), our three ply worsted yarn is usually available year 'round.
All of our yarn is spun in an organic process by Still River Spinnery in CT to ensure that it retains its softness, luster and 'springy-ness' and that it has never been exposed to harsh chemicals or solvents.
