Codman Community Farm

We are a non-profit community farm dedicated to preserving the area's agrarian roots. We grow and harvest hay on town owned, conservation and private fields; this hay is used to feed our animals, and the excess is sold We raise cows, pigs, sheep, chickens and various other animals in a natural environment. Some of our animals are butchered and sold in our farm store (beef, pork, lamb, goat). We also sell farm fresh eggs from our own heritage breed stock, and another local farm.

Our working farm is open to the public Tuesday-Sunday from 9-5. Admission is $1.50, members free. Farm tours are available for groups in the Spring and Fall. We also sponsor farmers helper classes for children, and adult farm classes including bee keeping and backyard chickens. Various community events are held, including sheep shearing in April and our Harvest feast and festival in September. Our large barn is avaiable for rentals.
