A gentle blend of herbs nicely sealed into a tea bag to be made and applied to a child's stomach. Herbs will help relax spasming stomach muscles and will help expel gas.
Simply boil and prepare the herbal tea bag as you would for a cup of tea. Let the herbs steep and cool down to a comfortable temperature. Soak a wash cloth in the tea, wring out and apply to your child's stomach.
This is an old fashioned remedy to aid with colic pains and gas. Good for adult use too when the gas pains don't want to break up in the stomach.
In addition you may want to add a drop of Lavender or Chamomile essential oil to the tea water before applying to baby's skin.

Also, temporary symptoms, such as abdominal gas, can make crying episodes worse. Smoking while pregnant may increase the likelihood that your baby will have colic.
