A wheat flavored blend with a unique sweetness to help beat colic pains and cries. Will help expel gas. Can be given to newborns, is safe an effective for reoccurring bouts of colic. Most children will drink it straight but may be added to juice. This is my Grandmothers recipe and has worked for years!
Can be taken by nursing mothers and will work effectively. Herbs are ingested and will be present in breast milk. Tea will not harm baby or mother and will help curtail colic.
Colic is not related to health conditions, such as digestion problems. Rarely, excessive crying in a baby first diagnosed with colic is later found to be related to cow's milk protein intolerance, fructose intolerance, transmission of medication by-products through breast milk, or other health problem. Also, temporary symptoms, such as abdominal gas, can make crying episodes worse. Smoking while pregnant may increase the likelihood that your baby will have colic.
Tincture is vegetable glycerin based for a bit of sweetness and can be compared to "gripe water". It is administered as 1 tablespoon between feedings as needed.
