Columbine - Purple Latin name - Aquilegia
A beautiful plant with graceful flowers that are highly attractive to hummingbirds. Columbines are a great addition to my garden. Columbines have a lot to offer with being drought-tolerant once established. Partial shade tolerant and adaptive to a variety of soil conditions. These columbines range from a dark purple to a lighter purple.
Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date for earliest blossoms. Cover seeds 1/8 inch of soil and keep evenly moist.
