Comeback Creek Farm was started in 2005 in Pittsburg, TX, about two hours east of Dallas. We are a small, owner-operated farm (about 5 of us on a day-to-day basis), still planting every seed and picking every weed ourselves. Our family farm covers 200 acres, and depending on the season we devote 5 to 25 acres to producing vegetables...with still plenty of room to grow!
We started selling our produce at a small booth at the Dallas Farmers Market, where we were fortunate enough to develop many meaningful relationships with our customers. Since then, we have slowly increased the variety and quantity of what we grow, and in 2009 we launched our CSA.
While our farm is not certified organic, we farm using only low impact, sustainable methods: we don't use synthetic pesticides or herbicides, harmful chemical fertilizers, or genetically modified seed.
