Welcome to Conover Organic Farm, a 23 acre farm located near Burgettstown. PA. The farm is located in Washington County and is less than 30 miles west of downtown Pittsburgh near the First Niagra Paviliion.
Jeff and Diana Conover purchased the farm and grew our first crops in 2011. We are firm believers in adhering to strict organic, non-invasive and sustainable practices. All of our plants are 100% non-GMO and 100% organic. We plant heirloom varieties almost exclusively. We grow fruits and vegetable for the taste, not for their look for how well they can be transported.
Our organic certification will be completed in 2014.
In 2012 we planted 1,000 blueberry, 200 black raspberry, 200 red raspberry and 100 blackberry plants.
Jeff is a 15th generation farmer and Diana a 3rd generation beekeeper.
