Fava beans and snow peas should last through May. Strawberries have slowed, but their flavor is great! Broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi and Swiss chard are still producing. Detroit dark red beets are back for a while. Copenhagen cabbage is producing beautiful heads and savoyed Famosa cabbage is starting also. We have a few shallots, fresh onions and green garlic. Early summer varieties are growing in the garden: tomatoes, squash, melons and cucumbers. Summer crops will begin harvest in June.
