Cooking classes for home cooks who are interested to learn how to cook more healthful by using local and unprocessed ingredients. I source most of my food from small local family farms and use organic, freshly ground spelt in all my baking. Start with a breakfast of fresh oat Muesli, spelt pancakes or a superb and easy to make spelt bread. How about Quiche Lorraine or a vegetable tart for lunch? A n easy to make and healthy apple galette makes a wonderful dessert and if you are getting hungry by just reading, how do you feel about a slow cooked beef Gulasch with Spaetzle for dinner?

Cooking Classes for people who like to eat well, buy food at places other than supermarkets and don't consider time in the kitchen as a mere chore. I get my meat from Polyface in Swoope, VA, my dairy and eggs from John G. Esh in Quarryville, PA, my organic spelt from Joel Steigman in Halifax, PA and my fruit and vegetables in season from the Oakton Farmers' Market of which I am the market manager.
