Cookus Interruptus

Cookus Interruptus features videos that show how to cook fresh local organic whole foods despite life's interruptions. It's about cooking wholesome family meals while the tentacles of kids, husbands, phone solicitors and missing strainers pull us in every direction.

Nutrition educator Cynthia Lair (author of Feeding the Whole Family, Bastyr University faculty) invites you into her kitchen for fun DIY videos on sustainable home cooking. She brings expertise, while Steve (Matt Smith) and Jane (Bhama Roget) add family life to the mix. Seattle film director Brad Huskinson and crew frame the experience into educational entertainment.

There’s a new recipe video every week: Mediterranean Quinoa Salad, Caribbean Lime Halibut, Emerald City Salad. Topics like getting your child to eat vegetables offer additional support.
