Cradle cap is an oily, yellow scaling or crusting on a baby's scalp. It is common in babies and is easily treated. Cradle cap is not a part of any illness and does not imply that a baby is not being well cared for.
Oil has a pleasant aroma and will not harm baby's skin. You may apply oil as needed to affected area, gently massaging as you apply. Oil contains essential oils of Chamomile and Lavender and will additionally aid your child in relaxing and peaceful sleep. Cradle cap can irritate your child and cause discomfort, this oil will help by being applied topically to the inflammation.
A little drop of oil goes a long way. It is sold as eight ounces because it is also good for babies' dry skin on other parts of the body.

Oil may stain certain fabrics. Test on a small area before applying to child on a favorite blanket.
