Named for the sandhill cranes that make the farm their home each spring, Crane Dance Farm nestles among the rolling hills, woodlands and wetlands of Barry County ~ a perfect setting for a grass-based, sustainable and humane farm. Providing chemical-free, healthy, and delicious pork, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, goose, turkey, heirloom chicken eggs and duck eggs is our life-goal as we work in harmony with the land and our animals. Because we are committed to genetic diversity, we include endangered heirloom animals in our breeding stock and use open-pollinated, heirloom grains whenever possible in our feeds. We grind our own grain for the omnivores, using primarily certified organic grains grown by a local farmer specifically for us.

When you know enough to eat the very best! We are a small farm, and we take great pride in knowing that we are doing the right thing for the planet. The vast majority of our ruminants, pigs, and poultry are bred, born, and raised on our farm, assuring quality control from breeding through processing. We avoid supporting any aspect of the industrial agricultural complex.
