Cross Island Farms

Cross Island Farms produces Certified Organic fruits, vegetables, heritage breed meats (beef, pork, goat, fowl) and eggs on 102 acres on Wellesley Island in the beautiful 1000 Islands Region of the St. Lawrence River in Northern NY. Year-round we offer organic farm tours, on-farm primitive camping, and volunteer/internship opportunities. Our self-serve roadside farmstand is also open year round (moved to front porch off-season), and we offer summer and fall/winter vegetable CSA memberships.

We are conveniently located just over the Thousand Islands Bridge off I-81 exit 5, within fifteen minutes from Canadian Customs, Alexandria Bay NY, and Clayton NY, and thirty minutes from Watertown NY. Take I-81 exit 51 and follow the signs to the Nature Center and Wellesley Island State Park. .

Our self-service farm stand is open 24 hours for your convenience. Find us at 44301 Cross Island Rd., Wellesley Island NY 13640. Take I-81 exit 51 (just over the Thousand Islands Bridge) and follow the signs to the Nature Center and Wellesley Island State Park. We are on the left, between Nutt'n Fancy Restaurant and Wellesely Island State Park. Stand moves to front porch in winter.

Our in season eggs and vegetables are available year-round at the Clayton Food Co-op open daily in Clayton, NY.

Initially we drove to Cross Island Farms for the organic free range eggs. It is a good 30 minute drive and through a tole from our house, but it was WORTH the drive!! The eggs are not only the freshest and best tasting eggs we've ever had, but they are beautiful to look at too!
