The Cross Timbers Food Co-op, or CTFC, brings producers and buyers of sustainably grown food together in the north central Texas region. We operate a monthly order cycle, with pickups in Denton, Texas.

Individuals, families, and businesses may join CTFC. Only CTFC members may buy or sell through the co-op. A membership share is a one-time $50 fee, fully refundable should the member choose to leave the co-op. If desired, the share cost may be paid out in monthly installments.

CTFC is not an all-organic or all-natural co-op, though those products are strongly encouraged and highly preferred by our consumers. It is an all-LOCAL co-op, focused on the north central Texas region. The definition of 'north central Texas' is up to each individual member, through his or her choice of whether they are close enough to participate or not. (more...)

CTFC charges both the customer and the producer in each transaction a handling fee of 5% of the total sale amount. For example, if you are a producer of grassfed beef, and you sell $20 worth of meat through CTFC one month, your customer will pay CTFC $21, and CTFC will pay you, the producer, $19. (Some producers simply increase their normal prices by 10% for sales made through CTFC - this is fine.)
