We have Thanksgiving turkeys! Crowfoot Farm is a small, family farm located in Amissville, Virginia. We began farming to provide clean, nutrient-dense, and humanely raised foods for our family. Our goals include the preservation of rare heritage breeds of livestock for future generations, as well as stewardship of the land. Our farm is home to rare Red Dorking chickens, Cotton Patch geese, Standard Bronze turkeys, Cotswold sheep and Ossabaw Island pigs. We manage our animals and crops in a way that improves the land rather than takes from it. We offer humanely raised pastured chickens, heritage holiday turkeys, fresh eggs, and laying hens. Our chickens forage on fresh grass daily and are supplemented with local GMO-free grains.

Contact us to be notified of processing dates if you would like fresh, never frozen chickens. Whole chickens ($3.50/lb) and portioned chickens (price varies) available. Now taking reservations for 2011 Thanksgiving turkeys. Our beautiful heritage Bronze turkeys were hatched on our farm from our own parent stock. $8/lb (average 8-15 lbs.)
