Crown Point Ecology Center

Crown Point Ecology Center is a non-profit organization that promotes the principles of community, justice, sustainability and spirituality. One of our most visible examples of these is our Foodbank Farm and CSA. We grow 10 acres of certified organic vegetables, about a quarter of which is donated to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and other social service agencies. The rest marketed through a 160-member CSA. Crown Point is non-denominational, but included within the ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Peace.

We are currently seeking Organic Farm Apprentices for the 2014 season! If you are interested in a farm apprenticeship, please Amy, the farm manager, at the email address listed. We also welcome volunteers to come out and help on most weekdays and occasional Saturdays during the growing season.

If you are interested in becoming a shareholder in Crown Point's CSA program, please sign up on our wait list on our website:

We hope you will consider becoming a Member of Crown Point Ecology Center, in order to help us carry out our mission of sustainable land use, food security, and community building.
