We are now offering fresh chevre from our friends at Lone Palmetto Farms in Lamar, SC, near Florence. They have a USDA Grade A dairy with a herd of Alpine, Nubian, Saanen, and Lamancha goats. They do not use any antibiotics or hormones to increase production, and their herd receives high quality feed, alfalfa, and coastal hay as well as grazing.
And the cheese is delicious! You'll get an eight ounce container of a rotating variety of flavors including plain chevre, pimiento, peach, salt & pepper, feta, and rosemary & garlic, as well as any new flavors they add. For pickups, your cheese will be in the cooler at the Sugarfoot Farms table; for deliveries, your cheese will be delivered in a small cooler.
