We offer a "cream of the crop" assortment of farm fresh foods. We are a value added C.S.A. which means in addition to 8 fruits and vegetables every week for 23 weeks, you will receive your choice of bread made with freshly milled wheat from "Great Harvest" and eggs 3 times a month. On the week you do not receive eggs you will receive another farm fresh item on a rotating basis such as honey, jam, cheese, ice cream, goat's milk soap, etc. on a rotating basis. We also have "Pick Your Own Herbs" as part of the program weekly. We plan our program to feed an average family of 4. What seasonal fruits and vegetables can you expect to receive? Strawberries, cherries, blueberries, peaches, plums, nectarines, cantaloupes, melons, apples, pears, plums, tomatoes including heirlooms, sweet corn, assorted beans, assorted squash, potatoes, cucumbers, lettuces, peas, asparagus, eggplant, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. We grow many heirloom varieties for taste and nutrition, the way our grandparents did. We link with several local farms to provide variety and balance to our assortment. The growing methods of our farm is certified organic. We link with farms that are "Natural" which means organic methods are used but the farm is not certified. I.P.M. which stands for Integrated Pest Management and Certified Organic. If there is something your family doesn't like you may trade the item on the trade table. Also, some extra items are for sale by the pound. We also have local grass fed beef, chicken, pork and lamb available for purchase separately. New for 2014 is flour made from locally grown and freshly milled grains, natural sugar, spices, beans, etc. Several payment plans are available.
