Summer CSA is a box or bag full of Veggies and fruit, grown on our farm. We aim for enough vegetables for a vegetarian family of 2, or a omnivorous family of 4. Of course, the contents vary with the season, starting with lots of greens, radishes, and other salad fixings, and progressing to Tomatoes, peppers, squash, and finally to potatoes, garlic, and pumpkins, etc. We try to have a bountiful supply of staples like lettuce, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, etc., with a few unusual items like kohlrabi, Pac Choi, Purple carrots, etc. thrown in for interest. We love having our members visit the farm, either to help out or just to enjoy the gardens. We also host twice a year festivals, in the spring and the fall.
Winter CSA is a box full of things we can grow here on the farm in hoop houses and greenhouses as well as storage crops. Once a week you as a shareholder will pick up a box of whatever vegetables are being harvested on the farm, the goal being enough for a family of 2-4 a week.
