A full share will provide you with enough produce for a non-vegetarian family of four for a week. I counted about 200 different types of seeds when I made our order. We'll have about 20 different tomatoes alone. Most are rare or heirloom. You can plan on a couple varieties of those things you'd expect and a few things you may never have seen! A half share is half as much per box per week or a full share every other week .Pick -up is at the farm, in the Highlands in Louisville, and at one of several Farmers' Markets in Louisville ( Heart of St. Matthews Farmers Market (Saturdays), Norton Commons Farmers' Market( Saturdays), Suburban Christian Church Farmers' Market ( Thursdays), and the Rainbow Blossom Farmers' Market (Sundays). We will be adding Uof L( as a pick-up site this year (Thursdays) We will try to fill up the boxes consistently with as much of a variety as we can, but depending on the season we may be lettuce heavy (spring) , or tomato happy(mid summer)... We'll have old standards, heirlooms and new varieties(all certified organic). We like the take-a-penny, leave-a-penny model, so we encourage people who don't like something to leave it for those who do (think of okra, as an example) Certified-organic eggs and certified -organic pastured chicken will be available in addition to the produce boxes, on a pay as you go basis. If you would like to add a standing order (Ex: two dozen eggs a week) we can bill by the month.
