Every week Basket CSA farmers commit to put in the shares all produce available that week, shares are all the same. You don't like it... think about leaving it behind for someone who does... If we have extras of something, we leave a box at pick up locations for you to help to some extras. If harvest is short or corn has worms... c'est la vie, and it is great we always have enough. But remember, as a subscriber you'll get to participate on how your food is grown by reading the most amusing Notes From the Farm written by Tina Smith. So she'll keep you posted of losses and extras. We do sometimes put bake goods like breads or jam and jelly in autumn baskets, all made with organic flour and sugar and local products at the kitchen's farms.
