Payment due July 11, 2009.
You will receive at least six to eight different types of vegetables, herbs and fresh baked bread each week. Our farm grows over 60 varieties each season, however, production is always dependent upon the weather. Every family is different, so we are offering 2 sizes. A Full Share will generally provide enough food for a couple or a normal family of 4. A Half Share will generally feed a single person or a couple who doesn't consume large amounts of vegetables. We love to grow gourmet and unusual vegetables you do not normally find at the grocery.
Fall/Winter Produce (September-December) We start off with squash, okra, southern peas, asparagus beans, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes and other hot weather crops. As the weather cools we will have green beans, greens, broccoli, winter squash, sweet potatoes, lettuce, kale, collards, mustard greens, beets, turnips, scallions, fall potatoes, chinese cabbage, kohlrabi, herbs, sugar and snow peas rutabaga, spinach, cabbage, carrots, radish, tomatillos, and maybe some storage onions and garlic, dried black beans and sun dried tomatoes, and more!
