Bountiful Acres CSA. We believe that CSA's are a connection between a nearby farmer and the people who eat the food the farmer produces. Here we produce organically grown delicious vegetables and fruits, many being from heirloom varieties. Imagine..each week you get a selection of the freshest, just-picked organic vegetables, straight from our farm to your table! You can cook healthier,more delicious dinners, avoid the supermarket all summer, and save the enviornment: No toxic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers and you support local farmers and the local economy. Our goal is to provide 3/4 bushel per week(which is equivalent to about 1 1/2 regular paper grocery sacks.The shares will consist of a variety of in-season goodies such as: arugula, beans, beets, basil, broccoli, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, carrots, chard, eggplant, endive, fennel, garlic, herbs, heirloom tomatoes, kale, leeks, mustard, melons, onions, potatoes, peppers, pumpkins, radishes, radicchio, spinach, sweet potatoes, summer squash, salad mix, scallions, and turnips. Each box will most likely contain enough vegetables to satisfy the moderate vegetable needs of a family of four. We also include recipes and a newsletter with each share. We also have an organic free ranging Egg CSA and a Cut Flower CSA available here at Bountiful Acres. We are limited to 35 full Vegetable/Fruit CSA share, 15 full egg shares, and 15 cut flower shares
