Shared Harvest Winter CSA is a multiple farm CSA that seeks to support new, organic farmers by connecting them with shareholders who wish to eat well and support local agriculture. In 2009, the two main produce suppliers will be Picadilly Farm and Riverland Farm. Both farms grow produce organically, Riverland is certified; Picadilly hopes to be certified organic in the next year. Picadilly and Riverland, along with Cider Hill Farm, Charlie Baer and other producers of the "extras" we hope to make available, grow their produce within 100 miles of where you will pick it up. In 2009 there are two Winter Share schedules to chose from:
Three Month Winter Share with distributions on Oct 24, Nov 14 and Dec 12 distributions or the Two Month Winter Share with distributions on Nov 7 and Dec 5.

Members pick up their pre-boxed winter shares at Busa Farm in Lexington. Saturday distributions are once per month, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
