CSA: Sundew Gardens
Operates: year round
Sundew Gardens upick "Harvest Gardening" membership as our way to offer to our neighbors the bounty of our produce. For your membership of $200, you receive credits to your upick harvests. Our "Harvest Gardening" days are Wednesday-Saturday, 9 AM-1PM.
We produce a wide variety of the vegetable, herb, and fruit crops that will grow well in Central Florida. We have 4 distinct growing seasons every year, so our crops selection is constantly changing. Most of our crops are produced in our wide growing beds of organically nurtured soil. A little work is involved while harvesting the crops, and please wear appropriate shoes. Learning how to reap the greatest return from picking garden fresh crops is part of the "Harvest Gardening" program. (Don't worry, I'll have the grapefruit pre-picked so you don't have to climb a citrus tree!) From time to time, we have 'Bumper Crop' clearances, excess seedlings, or bulk fertilizer purchases we can share with our members for great discounts.
To get started: Give me a call for an appointment to visit the garden for an orientation tour, most Fridays and Saturdays at Noon. Or plan to attend one of our "Intro to Sundew Gardening" workshops for an in-depth description on how we grow our crops. 407-430-2178
