Our CSA program is designed with flexibility in mind. Flexible tastebuds. Flexible pick-up schedule. And, flexible purchase options. Though we offer a traditional CSA program where members receive items selected by the farmer, all members have the opportunity to purchase additional items from the on-line store.

While we'd love to give you an exact start and end date, we've found that nature dictates that more than we do, but we can generally expect harvests to be plentiful and consistent June through October. However, it's more than likely you'll enjoy May and/or November harvests also. Once the CSA season begins, members receive a weekly portion of the harvest through the duration of the season.

Though we do have a specific plan in order, portions and variety will vary throughout the farming season depending on availability. Listed below are the produce varieties we generally expect in the month noted.

May* beets, broccoli (and raab), cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, fennel, greens (salad & cooking), herbs, kohlrabi, leeks, peas (sugar snap or snow), radish, scallions, turnips

June beets, broccoli (and raab), cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, fennel, greens (salad & cooking), herbs, kohlrabi, leeks, peas (sugar snap or snow), radish, scallions, turnips

July beans, beets, cabbage, carrots, cucumber, eggplant, fennel, garlic, garlic scapes, greens (salad & cooking), herbs, peppers, potatoes, radish, scallions, tomatoes

August beans, beets, cantaloupe, carrots, celery, cucumber, eggplant, fennel, garlic, greens (salad & cooking), herbs, leeks, peppers, potatoes, scallions, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, watermelon

September beans, beets, cabbage, cantaloupe, carrots, celery, cucumber, eggplant, fennel, greens (salad & cooking), herbs, leeks, peppers, potatoes, scallions, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, watermelon, winter squash

October beans, beets, broccoli (and raab), brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, celery, eggplant, fennel, greens (salad & cooking), herbs, kohlrabi, leeks, peas (sugar snap or snow), peppers, potatoes, rutabaga, scallions, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, winter squash

November* beets, broccoli (and raab), brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, greens (salad & cooking), herbs, kohlrabi, leeks, peas (sugar snap or snow), potatoes, rutabaga, scallions, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, winter squash

*Please note that May and November are listed due to the high probability that some portion of one or both of those months may be included in your weekly produce deliveries. The value of your share is intended to be satisfied June through October. However, in doing our best to be sure that happens, harvests are generally available during these time periods also.

We understand that harvest season is also a popular time for getaways. We also understand that when members are unavailable for pick-up they may not be able to provide a proxy in their absence. That is why members may place shares on hold up to 3 times during the season. An on-line store credit of $14 is issued for each week's share placed on hold. The member may use that credit to purchase at their leisure during the season.
